The central heating did not function. we were provided with portable heaters. Acceptable, but not ideal. i also wasn't thrilled to find myself presented with a bill for £340 for two tasting menus when we had only one course. it seemed like a billing error that should have been caught sooner.

The spa facilities were lovely and the treatments were great. I enjoyed the overnight spa experience. breakfast was fantastic with freshly made cinnamon poached pears and spice-infused fruit.

Check-in was unpleasant and borderline rude. I was made to wait in a holding room. the reason for the wait was not explained, and the process felt pretentious.

the room was not up to standard i expected a larger room given the price i paid the tv did not function and the bath plug seal was faulty electricity tripped after plugging in my phone charger it was inconvenient.
